Go for it! I liked the 2013 Taurus I rented...very comfortable, very roomy, a good infotainment system, and a really nice interior.

A Volvo S80 platform, appreciable depreciation (or lots of room to haggle when new), and (I assume) a powerful engine in the Lincoln version sounds like a win to me.

no. no. no. for some reason I am not a fan of American cars especially big boat-like cars, including the Taurus, MKS, Chrysler 300, XTS, chevy imapala and Malibu. in fact, I only favor very few American cars.

You would have my complete support. I love large sedans though. Linear throttle response, better handling than the midsizers because better suspension set up, best used car values without question, low mileage and we’ll kept because only the elderly buy them new, and people let you get away with driving aggressively because they are caught so off guard. Go for it!
